Summary: Just OK
Comment: It works OK on crumbs, etc., but don't expect any help with pet hair. The extremely soft bristles do grab some of the pet hair but that's exactly where they stay - in the bristles. I'm going to send it back and try to find something better.

Comment: Light, easy to store, cleans rugs & hard surfaces. Empties easily. Goes under sofas & beds. Quicker than hauling out the vacuum.

Summary: Works well but long hair will break it.
Comment: This sweeper works well for picking up little bits of dirt and debris but long hair will get pulled into the plastic bearing and will cause the bearing to fail. (See my included picture.) This is a really common issue with vacuum cleaners so it doesn't really surprise me. It would require metal bearing and axle to not have this problem. I'm giving it a 3 because while it may not be what I wanted it for, it still works well at other tasks.

Comment: I checked all the items similar to this and noticed most of them said they had issues with the handles. This one had no problems. It does seem a little cheap although I don't know what the others feel like. I used to work at a restaurant and was used to a very sturdy one. Regardless this did the job well. It picked up dog hair which is the main reason I purchased. It doesn't replace a vacuum cleaner but is nice for in-between.

Summary: You get exactly what you pay for...
Comment: It was cheap. It is rather cheaply made. It does the job, though. Great for a quick "Holy crap, visitors are arriving!" moment. Works absolutely wonderfully on cat hair. My cat is 90% hair. Some days I come home and there is 1/2 cat on my floor. This cheap, light-weight, quiet sweeper picks it right up. I like it.
